Hi, I'm Nicole

MORE ABOUT ME

Most solopreneurs hear “$60,500 invested in being seen” and think: that’s reckless.

I hear it and think: that’s the exact number it took to become someone who speaks on stages and is touted as a wellness expert for the Spa at Four Seasons Hotel New York Downtown.

Let me show you what I mean.

What the Fear of Being Seen Looked Like for Me

I used to struggle with social anxiety. It looked like being someone who could talk about someone else’s business as long as I had talking points to memorize. Fine. But even something as simple as standing up in a group meeting to say my own name would make my heart race. I’d feel sweat bead on my upper lip.

Back then, I couldn’t picture myself having fun on a stage or hosting a podcast. But I could feel this desire inside me: I wanted to be a great public speaker like my grandfather, who was a Baptist minister. I desperately wanted to become a version of myself that someone would actually pay to hear speak.

That version of me kept focusing on the wrong things. Pricier makeup. More expensive clothes and shoes. I thought if I could just buy my way to looking confident, I’d feel confident.

I was wrong. And it took lying on a blue yoga mat to finally understand why.

Have you been here too? Changing the way you look, hoping it would make you feel ready to be seen?

The Moment Everything Shifted

I was at the end of an IntenSati class with the late Patricia Moreno. Think cardio, but you’re also cheering for yourself out loud. Saying affirmations while you move.

Patricia called out, “I am strong now.” “I am confident now.”

And I couldn’t say them wholeheartedly. Not really. Because the voice I’d been living with for years was saying something completely different: You have nothing interesting to say. You’re not thin enough. You need a nose job.

I broke down in tears right there on the mat, surrounded by other people.

Not because the words were hard. Because I realized how long I’d been living inside the opposite ones.

That was the moment I stopped trying to buy my confidence and started doing the actual work.

Every Dollar Invest In Being Seen Came Back

I started investing in coaching in 2010. But the real shift came in 2018, when I signed up for a $15K communications coaching package and a $3,500 group program to work on my beliefs.

I was shaking when I signed up. $18,500 in one year.

It was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Since then, I haven’t stopped. Marketing courses, hypnotherapy certifications, public speaking training, podcast masterclasses, YouTube training, Human Design certifications, and belief deep dives.

Every single dollar has come back. Not just in money, though it did come back in money, plus plus plus.

The Proof I Didn’t See Coming

The first sign something had shifted wasn’t a revenue number.

It was a guest on my first podcast, The Daring Kind, telling me: “This is one of the best interviews I’ve ever done.”

I had Kamal Ravikant on that show. The CEO of HoneyPot. People who had done hundreds of interviews.

And here’s what I noticed: I wasn’t just asking good questions. I was coaching them. Helping them see themselves more clearly. They were leaving the conversation feeling better about who they were.

The woman who used to feel her heart race just saying her own name in a group meeting was now making CEOs and authors feel more seen.

That’s when I knew. The work was real.

It came in rooms full of people leaning in, ready to be moved. Me feeling excited, not overwhelmed, about teaching them.

It came in the form of an invitation from the Four Seasons to offer my services at their spa.

That’s not luck. That’s what happens when you keep showing up even when the fear of being seen says don’t.

What Nobody Tells You About Investing in Being Seen

It wasn’t one big check. It was a series of choices, each one made from the same place: I know what it costs to stay hidden.

A coach. A hypnotherapist. A social media manager. Masterclasses. Courses. Investments in my own belief system.

Each time, my brain said: Is this responsible?

Each time, the return said: Yes.

What a Visibility Coach Knows That Most Don’t

Visibility isn’t about the follower count. It’s not even really about the money, though the money does follow.

It’s about what becomes possible when you can finally see yourself clearly.

It’s about looking in the mirror and recognizing the person looking back. Feeling lit up about who you’re becoming. Knowing you tackled the fear of being seen instead of letting it make your decisions for you.

Because here’s what I’ve come to understand: fear isn’t a wall. It’s just a thought. A belief. Simple electrical signals your brain fires to keep you exactly where you are.

The moment you see it clearly, it loses its grip. And the world opens.

The Real Cost of Staying Hidden (This Haunts Me)

I’ve spent $60,500 investing in being seen.

But let’s talk about the cost on the other side, because it has a number too.

If your average client is worth $3,000 and you stay hidden for one year, that’s not just missed income. That’s 10, 15, 20 people who needed exactly what you do and found someone else instead. Or found no one. Either way, they didn’t find you.

Think about the last time someone told you they’d been searching for what you offer for months. Where were you while they were looking?

The clients who never found you. The rooms you never walked into. The version of yourself, the expanded, fully expressed, lit-up version, who stayed small because the fear of being seen felt louder than the calling.

That cost doesn’t show up on a spreadsheet. But it’s real. And it compounds. You can actually feel it.

The Belief I Came Back to This Morning

“When clients come into my world, their world gets better.” That’s what I wrote in my journal this morning.

Because, in addition to teaching you the tactics for showing up on camera, on stage, and on a podcast, I teach you to show up from a place of service. I teach self-trust. I teach you how to find compassion for yourself. I teach you how to get the right people to find you.

Ready to Be Seen?

If you’ve already tried the external fixes like the new wardrobe, the skincare refresh, maybe even a public speaking course, and you still feel that gap between who you are and who you know you’re capable of being.

That gap lives in two places. The voice on the inside that hasn’t caught up to the vision you have for yourself yet. And the strategy on the outside that hasn’t been built to match who you’re becoming

That’s exactly the work I do.

I combine mindset coaching, hypnotherapy, Human Design, and two decades of PR and brand strategy to help you close that gap, so you can show up on camera, on stage, and on podcasts not because you’ve memorized the right talking points, but because you actually trust yourself.

If you’re ready for that, book a no-hassle, free consultation for 1:1 High-Frequency Visibility Coaching. Let’s find out what’s really standing between you and being seen.

BUT GUESS WHAT?

As a former NYC publicist turned visibility coach and hypnotherapist, you might find it hard to believe that I was the one dodging the camera and dreading every networking event. I could media-train a chef or wellness practitioner for their biggest interview, then pour a drink just to survive the room myself. What I needed was to confront what was actually stopping me. So I did. Now, I bring that trained publicist eye and my inner work to your visibility, so you can finally close the gap between how you see yourself and how the world receives you.
