+ HYPNOSIS SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE!

I know. Like you, I was once a skeptic. In fact, I was really afraid of hypnosis. I thought I’d be giving control of my mind to someone else, but I was also desperate enough to try anything that would help me with my own feelings of imposter syndrome, social anxiety and general anxiety that were leading to chronic gastritis and alopecia. Before trying hypnosis, I’d tried traditional psychotherapy. I trained as a yoga instructor. I read all the self-help books. I spent almost $20K in one year on coaching. While the coaching was overall helpful, it didn’t solve the problem. I still felt like I couldn't be myself. There was this barrier to my full expression that I couln't seem to break. I was super frustrated, but I tried hypnosis at the suggestion of a colleague who said it was helping her create change without struggle. A weird thing happened after my first session, my social anxiety seemed like it had dulled. My triggers started to become less triggering with each session. I finally had a breakthrough that led back to my childhood, and it was the game changer!

+ IS HYPNOSIS ACTUALLY BACKED BY SCIENCE?

Stanford Medical School has been researching hypnosis for many years, and they have identified that hypnosis allows for the nervous system to downregulate, and it also keep the mind active. In this way, you can accelorate neuroplasticity, which is change and reorganization of neural pathways. This is good news! This means you can really make real brain-based changes that will allow you to shift your mood and outlook on life.

+ WHAT CAN I EXPECT DURING A SESSION?

You can expect to have a variety of experiences which may range from conversations to movement to visualizations similar to what you may have experienced in meditation. Our change work is designed to work in layers - going deeper. You’ll likely feel better right after your session, and the work will continue to seep into your unconscious. You'll change the way your brain perceives the sensations and experiences that currently trigger you and keep you stuck.

During our Hypnotic Journey, you will be awake, just deeply relaxed, and we will be collaborating on remapping your brain - creating new resourceful neural patterns.

As you journey deeper in your unconscious, we can get a deeper understanding of your circumstance, lessen physical and emotional pain, and provide resourcefulness in the areas of your life where you may been struggling or entirely given up hope. You will be able to speak during your session. You will remember everything you want to remember.

Each session is 60 to 75 minutes. For most people, they require at least 3 to 6 sessions working on one issue to see the full benefits of hypnosis. This is why I offer programs.

+ WHY DO I NEED 3-6 SESSIONS?

Most people, can and do experience a profound shift in just one session, but there’s a few factors that contribute to the success of hypnosis. The first is your willingness to let go and trust the process. The deeper we go into your unconscious, the faster and more effective each session will be. Secondly, some of us have have been dealing with the same issue for so long that we’ve made it our identity, and we have to do some training for that new neural pathway to be strong enough to support you, ongoing.

+ Do you offer in-person sessions, too?

Absolutely! If you prefer to work with me in-person, I offer sessions as a Resident Healer in the Four Seasons Hotel Downtown New York, and you can also find me popping up at hotels and spas around the U.S. and soon the globe. You can book in-person sessions direct with the spa. I typically offer The Time Traveler when traveling, but I do offer programs in-person. We simply need to have a conversation first to make sure we're a good fit.

+ WHAT IF I’M TOO INTELLECTUAL FOR HYPNOSIS?

Actually, hypnosis is a natural state that you likely experience multiple times daily. If you've ever become absorbed in your own thoughts and tuned out other people, that's a hypnotic state. If you've ever felt emotions while watching a movie, you've experienced a hypnotic state. People with higher IQs are actually the best candidates for hypnosis because they are more imaginative.

+ WHO SHOULD NOT TRY HYPNOSIS?

If you are currently suicidal, I would not recommend hypnosis right now. Would you please call 911 or seek out medical attention? Visit https://suicidepreventionlifeline.org. Know you are not alone! My mother has battled depression her whole life, and I know that good help is available for you!

Additionally, I do not recommend hypnosis for those who are bipolar, schizophrenic, or experience epilepsy unless you are also under the care of a medical practitioner who can give me their consent to work with you.

+ WHAT IS THE TYPICAL INVESTMENT TO WORK WITH YOU?

The quick answer...it depends. The Time Traveler Virtual is currently $189. For other transformations, I see amazing results with multiple sessions, which is why I offer programs are more involved and require more 1:1 communication; they typically range between $750 - $1500. However, I do support teachers, students, veterans and people on restrictive budgets when possible. Please schedule a call or fill out the form so we can discuss how I can best help you.
